Midweek Links

Maile, a year ago, today. Where has my baby gone?!

Another Wednesday ... How is it Wednesday already? Am I right? And this is going to sound odd, but as I type this, I feel like it's almost Christmas again. Not. even. joking. Tim's next days off, we'll be flying to California for a family visit (and a super exciting college graduation). It will be Maile's 2nd birthday. My parents and baby sister will be here. Then, a camping trip. Our Giants will be in town to play the Rockies. Next, a Midwest visit. Tim's birthday. Our wedding anniversary. My birthday. And before you know it, it will be Christmas! I know. I'm nuts.

In other news, these days off have been good ones. Nothing too important, just very busy, and full of dirt -- the digging in the garden kind, which I love. Luckily, the rest of the week promises to be wonderful as well. I'm looking forward to another Saturday "day-date" with Tim, too. Iron Man 3, anyone? Yes. I'm not the kind of girl who will go see just any movie with a number behind it, though. This is important.

This will make you laugh ... Check out this video of people at Coachella pretending they've heard of bands that don't exist -- cringe-worthy. Also, hilarious!

If you only go to one linked page on this list, make it this one. A study suggests that being born in the United States raises allergy risk. About a zillion things could be said about this, but I'm curious to read what your thoughts are.

A couple of pool-season pieces I'd love to have in my closet: one, and two.

We love our spaniels, but I've always thought corgis are so cute! One more reason why.

This straightforward quotation made me laugh. And if it's not boobs, it's something else. As women, we are our own worst critics!

Our food sources are in ever-more danger. Which side of this debate do you fall on?

This dress is so pretty. Just look at that back!

I'd like to magically apply the interior of this house to our own humble abode.

I can't wait to see this.

Gorgeous party inspiration for you.

Love those cute nursery ideas! I need to get a house I can paint.

    1. It really is just mind-blowing, isn't it!? Perhaps one of the only things I miss about our childless days -- our 'relaxed' schedule. :)

    1. Thanks, Marie!

We had such a blast at Iron Man 3. Kind of jealous you get to watch movies before we do. ;)

  3. I know, the year is flying by so quickly! Iron man 3 for sure, my daughter and I get excited about it as well, so the boys benefit. Because obviously what we say goes... I wish! haha.

    1. LOL! I like to call movies like Iron Man 3, "popcorn flicks." Just good, old-fashioned fun that everyone loves! Hope you liked it. We sure did.
