"A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Maile: Her name means sweet smelling, but it could very well mean industrious, or hard-working. She has developed a keen interest in the birds who frequent our backyard each morning, searching for worms and twigs and scraps. So though our bird-feeder went unused during the colder months, we decided to hang it again for "Maile's birdies."
