{A game of "Where's Maile?" when I got out of the shower -- Maile hopped right in, and started playing peekaboo from behind the glass.}

... I hope you all had the most wonderful day yesterday!
We will be officially celebrating next week, when Tim is home, but I do have a few photos to share with you of Baby Girl opening presents from her Marmee and Papa.
Merry Christmas!
gotta love her little ponytail on the top of her head. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, we're determined to not cut her hair! It's about the only way to keep it out of her face ... :)
DeleteThat's a very beautiful and cute photo of your daughter :) happy holidays to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marie! Happy Holidays to you and your sweet little family as well!
DeleteOh man what a doll. Great picture, and Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katie! Merry Christmas to you, too!

You flatter me! It's all in the lighting ... find yourself some good light, and chances are you'll get a good picture. The ground floor of our house is super dark and gloomy -- and I made the mistake of painting the ceiling in our kitchen/family area blue. It's really pretty, and TERRIBLE for taking pictures, which is why my best pictures are taken upstairs! LOL
DeleteSuch a cutie, Katie! Loooove that little ponytail on top. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweet friend!
DeleteI know you're traveling, and spending lots of quality time with family and friends this week -- I've been thinking of, and praying for you!
Such a cheeky smile!! She's just gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteYes. It's all in the eyes, I think! So full of mischief ... Thank you, Renee!
DeleteThis is awesome for an iphone pic! I love it! Honestly the Iphone is amazing sometimes with what it can do! I love it.
ReplyDeleteShe is super cute! :)

Thanks, Nina! I definitely think the iPhone has it's place, but nothing beats a good ol' DSLR. ;)
DeleteThe most adorable picture. Totally captures her joy, innocence and enthusiasm for life! Makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteIf only I could keep her this way forever! I'm trying so hard to be in tune to her childish wonder, and, as you say -- enthusiasm and joy. It's amazing how it can change your perspective when you make an effort to quit trying to be so "grown up." ;)
