Well, I started with strawberries and Nutella, but halfway through the strawberry carton, I remembered that I specifically bought them for Maile. So I put away the strawberries, and got out a spoon.
It was delicious.

We've already got a camping trip planned for this summer.
I've only been camping once.

Thanks to my darling friend Kristin, Jim Cantore tweeted me on Monday. We both got all "fan girl" over it.
Please tell me you know who Jim Cantore is.

I've decided that I need a makeover, in a serious way. My college self is horrified by my growing-out roots, and poorly proportioned styling.
As evidence, I present to you this intended What We Wore fail:
Horizontal stripes, cuffed denim, and flat shoes. Mary and Joseph! I'm only 4'10", and I look 3'10" here. And pregnant. Which I'm not, by the way.
Oh hai, ashy roots. How you doin'? Obviously, this is not my stylist's fault -- who is awesome. Minus the roots, I think my hair kinda looks like fire. Girl on fire. Prettiness. Note to self: Get your butt to the salon.
But this whole being-a-mama thing? It's pretty grand.
Get a load of this cutie:
So much 'tude!
Happy Hump Day, friends.

I think you look precious in your outfit!! :) Girl, I so get the roots thing...I realized the other day that my hair on top was a different shade than my hair on bottom. I question my friends...shouldn't they have told me!!??!! :)
ReplyDeleteYep, your sweetie is a cutie patootie. Happy Wednesday!
Awww, thanks, Marci!
DeleteYour comment about your hair had me cracking up! Usually Tim is the first one to tell me I need to get my roots done, but he's been slacking a bit. ;)
Happy Wednesday to you!
You both look adorable! And darn! I was hoping to read that YES, you are pregnant! ;)
ReplyDeletexoxo Yesenia
You know I'd love to be pregnant right now! We have some things going on with Maile, so I'm trusting that it's just not the right time, and it will happen when it's meant to. :)

That's an adorable top! Love it! Oh, and I've been there...the Nutella thing...don't tell my husband. He already looks down upon my obsession with it. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's actually a current GAP find, though I probably should've skipped it, judging from the pictures, LOL.
DeleteMy lips are sealed! :)
I think your outfit is super cute. For a mom with a little one, the fact that you dress up is big and that you dress up cute is a win! and I can't tell you enough how adorable your little girl is. she is so precious!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, Leah! I just remind myself that no one really cares what I'm wearing anyway, because it's all about Maile -- as it should be!
Deleteabsolutely absolutely nothing wrong with nutella for dinner! i have been knowing to eat nutella straight out of the jar with a spoon of course :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Phew! So glad I'm not the only one. ;)
DeleteHa!! Too funny. I hadn't heard of Nutella until college and get this...I actually don't like it! I'm the weirdest person, I know :) I think you look cute, by the way! And Maile...of course she's stylin' in her sunnies.
ReplyDeleteThanks, girl! I really need to work on elongating my figure with my clothes. Some trends just aren't made to be worn by serious shorties!
Deleteaw, you look great! don't under estimate yourself ;)
ReplyDelete:) Thanks, Liz. ::hugs::
DeleteSo any things to say....
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you are BEAUTIFUL! I think your hair looks just lovely.
Secondly, I am STILL freaking out about that Jim tweet. I love that man. <3 hehe
Hahahahahahaha! I sent a screenshot of it to my mom, and she Facebooked it. SO silly, that woman.
DeleteHa! I'm laughing at your fail, but I think you look really cute! It's not like you're going to wear heels while chasing your cute little girl around town! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, THANK YOU! Haha. Oooobviously that outfit just isn't working for me. Definitely not going to be wearing heels while out-and-about with Maile, but I can sure try not to look like a stump! LOL
DeleteI Love your sense of humor! You girls look great by the way!
