Over the Weekend ...

One of our favorite little boys turned two!

Maile took Silas' truck for an indoor spin.

Maile was happy. Then upset. Then happy again.

Our friend Annie made the cutest cake.

Three little monkeys found their way onto Annie's lap!

And I made one of my favorite recipes, which is being featured today by one of my blogging besties, Kyna, of Great Expectations

Hope your weekend was wonderful!

    1. It was such a cute cake ... and delicious, too! Chocolate, with mint buttercream icing, and Oreo-cream cheese "boulders." Annie really outdid herself!

What did you think of the dip recipe? I'm anxious to know if you tried it!

    1. The cake was truly adorable, Brittany -- I wish I had Annie's talent and creativity!

I can find goat cheese anywhere there's groceries ... even Walmart! It's usually in the deli area, with other specialty cheeses, either labeled as goat cheese, or sometimes chevre, if you're at a nicer grocery store. :) Hope you find some -- it's delicious on so many things! Let me know if you try the dip.

    1. Thanks, Marie! Yeah, I think the crying picture is pretty classic. We spared her the Santa Claus crying photo this year, so I guess I made up for it last weekend! Haha. xo

    1. Thanks, Sophie! I only put my SOC (straight out of camera) images up right now, because I didn't have Photoshop ... but I got it for Christmas (thanks to the hubby). It's still unopened, but I can't wait to break into it!
