Monday Senses


Speaking of scurrying squirrels ...


I recently saw the idea for a Senses post over at Kirstin's beautiful blog, Kalanag. I think it's a lovely, honest reflection; here is mine.

Making: A hula hoop canopy for Maile's "new" room.

Seeing: The steady march of autumn advancing. Cool mornings. Cooler nights. Scurrying squirrels. 

Smelling: Freshly cut grass. One of my favorite scents!

Tasting: A hint of toffee, from this morning's cuppa.

Hearing: The Civil Wars. If you are a Facebook friend, or a Twitter follower, you know I'm obsessed!

Feeling: Not myself. And hoping this "funk" passes soon.

Loving: Mr. M and Little M, more than ever.

Reading: Sacred Influence, by Gary Thomas. The Language of Flowers, by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.

Praying: For worth. For a strong heart for my husband and daughter.

    The Language of Flowers looks wonderful! Are you enjoying it? And we chase squirrels around our backyard too. They drive our dog crazy! Ha! Hope you have a great Monday! :)

      It does, doesn't it? A friend recommended it to me, and yes, I am not very far into it, but I am enjoying it so far.

      Oh my gosh, I need to find a new duo or band. I think Husband is getting sick of hearing TCW all the time!
